Description: The story of Aeneas’ journey from Troy to Italy as told by Virgil is one of the West’s best works of all time. “Pious Aeneas” struggles to follow the path laid out for him by the gods as he seeks a new home, inspiring and challenging us through it all. Students will need to devote 45 minutes per day for this class. The grade is based on reading quizzes, and exams. No essays or short answer questions will be assigned. As such, it will be up to the parent to ensure the student is fully engaging with the larger themes of the books.
