Algebra I Review
Description: This 8 week review class is designed for students who have completed Algebra I and desire to review and hone their skills before beginning Geometry or Algebra II in the fall. Mastery of Algebra is the essential foundation for subsequent mathematics courses; this review class will keep student’s skills sharp so they are ready for the fall.
Prerequisites: Completion of Algebra I (any curriculum).
Topics Covered: Solving equations and inequalities (single variable); graphing linear functions; solving linear systems (2 variables); exponents and polynomials; factoring; solving quadratic equations; roots and radicals; quadratic formula; rational expressions.
Required Materials: Pencil and paper. All instructional materials, practice problem sets, and solutions will be provided by the instructor. Students will also need a USB headset (built-in microphones also work).
