Brian Hanson has taught formal logic through Memoria Press Online Academy since 2012. He holds five earned degrees including a PhD in history from the University of St. Andrews, where he was a recipient of the School of History Scholarship. Dr. Hanson is Assistant Professor of History and Theology at Bethlehem College & Seminary in Minneapolis.
He is the author of Waiting on the Spirit of Promise: The Life and Theology of Suffering of Abraham Cheare and Reformation of the Commonwealth: Thomas Becon and the politics of Evangelical Change in Tudor England. As a professional musician, he is also active as a composer with works published by Choristers Guild and Concordia Publishing House. Dr. Hanson has had the privilege to have lived and traveled abroad. He has lived in Argentina, Gabon, and Scotland, and has traveled to over twenty countries, mostly in Europe and Southeast Asia. He and his wife have five children, and enjoy biking, hiking, and exploring together in Minnesota.
