Margaret is the oldest of seven siblings in a homeschooling family, and holds a BA in philosophy with a minor in history from Christendom College. She is currently pursuing an MA and PhD in European history (medieval and early modern) at Saint Louis University, where she is also a graduate assistant. At Christendom, Margaret studied both classical and medieval Latin, tutored and taught struggling Latin students, and she especially enjoyed translating obscure medieval Latin texts. When she isn’t reading, writing, or translating, she also enjoys knitting, sewing, and painting in watercolor. She is excited to share with students her love of the Latin language and the doors it opens to the past.
