Description: Students who have mastered the Latin grammar introduced in Henle I and II and have completed a translation course will benefit from a year focused on reading great Latin works written by Christians. This course is recommended either as a transition course between Henle II Caesar and Henle III Cicero for students who wish to have additional translation practice or as another reading year for those that have already completed more advanced Latin. Translation selections will be drawn from the writings of diverse Christian authors who lived between AD 400 and 1300.
Grade Level: 9-12
Prerequisites: The student must have completed the Henle II Caesar course to be ready for this level of translation.
