French II

Description: This class is a continuation of French I with Memoria Press and will continue to build on the foundation laid in that class. Students will engage in an exploration of both historical and contemporary French culture and language, and will continue the emphasis on communication by applying interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational skills in real-life situations. This includes vocabulary usage, language control, communication strategies, and cultural awareness. This class is worth 1 high school credit.

Grade Level: 9-12 (ages 14-18)

Prerequisites: Students must have successfully passed French I with Memoria Press Online Academy.

Required Materials: Students who register for this course will be notified when these books are available for purchase. Additional readings from French newspapers, etc., will be assigned. Students must also have a microphone on their computer (built-in microphones also work).
