Mei-Ning graduated from the Wheaton Conservatory of Music in Wheaton, Illinois, with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance and a minor in Third World Studies. She taught piano privately for six years following graduation before fully committing her time to homeschooling her four children. During her 16 years of homeschooling, she developed a passion for teaching history and classical studies. Mei-Ning has taught history and multi-disciplinary humanities courses at the Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric levels both to her own children and in a formal classroom setting at a local classical homeschool co-op. She is passionate about engaging with her students in a personal way and hopes to encourage a curiosity and passion for learning history through the lens of God’s created order.
Mei-Ning is happy to call Maine her home. She is married to Bob Langworthy, an accountant and enthusiastic reader. When she is not teaching her youngest two children at home or in the classroom, she can be found long-distance training or racing on roads and trails, leading women’s Bible studies, playing the piano at her church, or in search of the perfect cup of coffee. She attends Freeport Baptist Church in Freeport, Maine.
