Latin and Greek

Students should take Third Form Latin if ready, or continue with whatever course builds on the Latin taken previously. If your student has no Latin background, then First Form Latin is recommended. In addition, students may wish to begin their study of Greek.

Classical Composition

For students continuing in the Classical Composition method, Refutation and Confirmation is recommended. Students unfamiliar with Classical Composition should take Fable and Narrative. View all of our composition offering here.

Classical Studies

Classical Studies I is recommended, but students with no background in Classical Studies should begin with Famous Men of Greece.

Literature

Students have a number of literature options, but one of the following literature courses would be suitable for this grade level.

Science

Depending on interest, students should take one of the following courses, or another appropriate science course.

Mathematics

Students should take Pre-Algebra or another appropriate math course.

Modern History

In seventh grade, Guerber U.S. History is recommended. View the other history courses here.

Logic

Students can take Traditional Logic I and Traditional Logic II as semester courses. Traditional Logic can be delayed until high school if needed, but many find it helpful to take before 9th grade because they do not have the time for these courses in high school.

Geography

Geography III is the best option for seventh grade students looking for a geography course.
